This Kahala Remodel was a total " down to the studs" job in the kitchen, master bedroom, and master bath. The clients had moved from Northern California to tropical Hawaii. Their style was a touch of the industrial, barn chic look with plenty of room to entertain and enjoy family life with teenage kids. To achieve this, we opened up the original small rooms to create one large family room/kitchen.

To achieve their desired style, we started with a very specific palette of colors, metallic grey, steel, and a touch of bronze, softened those choices with recycled wood. From there we were able to make all material choices for tiles, flooring, counters, etc. The bathroom was the same palette of colors in lighter tones using recycled glass and porcelain with teak cabinets evoking a touch of the islands.
