What a gift to have the opportunity to work on this historical gem of a home on the oceanfront in Lanikai with very forward thinking owners. Our goal was always to recognize the great bones of this Vladimir Ossipoff home of the mid century but bring it forward in time. To that end, we did a full remodel, which included moving the mid century kitchen to the oceanfront of the home creating an incredible open floor plan with unparalleled views of the "Mokes".

Choosing the material selections for this home were of utmost concern. We kept the palette minimal with touches of eclectic. Concrete floors, custom teak cabinets, lava stone, and glass tiles with the outside of the house being stained black with sydney harbor paints. Eclectic was achieved with 3Form custom designed sliding barn doors and unique lighting fixtures. The final design was enhanced with playful, modern furniture with color that compliments the view and kept the space open and further enhanced by careful landscape choices.
