Beach Breeze, kailua style. The clients brought Jamie Jackson Design in to remodel a room of their 1960’s home on one of Oahu's most loved beaches. The possibilities for this house were exciting and with the help of architect Mark Eyler a 21st century family home was built from the ground up. The palette and materials chosen for the home were inspired by the colors of the sand, the local hard woods and beach glass.

It was decided to let the ocean and sky rein blue and create the home with warm sand and earth tones. To achieve this Jamie used terrazzo floors, ocean style glass and gold tiles from island stone and locally made wood counters, topped off with a two story fishnet chandelier made by a local artisan. Ohia wood uprights from the big island anchor and the huge ceiling with a teak truss. Furnishings were purchased from Pacific Home to bring it all together.
